Marsha Doll Models NYC Parent/Child Actor Boot Camp in June 2012 was a huge success! After many successful years working in NYC with teens and young adults through her annual Actor/Model Boot Camps, Marsha opened a camp this year for aspiring child actors!

Many local parents and their children, along with kids from around the country, traveled with Marsha to NYC June 10th-13th and spent 4 whirlwind days taking classes and attending camp workshops with industry giants including Bob Luke, Herman and Lipson Casting, Liz Lewis Casting, and Casting Solutions! The children auditioned for some of the biggest agents in New York City, and several were asked to return to New York to work with agents from Shirley Grant Management, FFT Models, Silver Models, and Innovative Artists. In addition to the intense camp schedule, parents and children enjoyed a fabulous 2 hour NYC Harbor Cruise, dinners at some of the best family restaurants in NYC, as well as visits to the amazing Serendipity 3 and Dylan's Candy Bar!

Not to be outdone, the very next week 14 young adults, many from Tallahassee, Thomasville, Crawfordville, as well as others from across the country, joined Marsha in NYC for her well known NYC Actor Boot Camp for young adults! In addition to classes, workshops, and auditions with the same big entertainment names as the Parent/Child camp, several of the teens attended a private call with Wilhelmina Models. Dinner at TAO, dessert at Daniel Beloud's, a night out in a super stretch limo with an awesome Broadway Show ensured the young adult camp was as much fun as it was hard work!

Tallahassee resident Sherri Pontius enjoyed her trip to NYC with her grandson Christian Padgett. "We truly could not have asked for more...as Christian says 'You aren't really a model until you've been professionally trained by Marsha Doll!" Thomasville native Caroline Talbot had a similar experience. "I learned SO much and had the best time!" she raved. Marsha was thrilled everyone had such a positive experience. "This is why I do what I do. I teach the kids and teens what to do, take them to meet and audition for right people, and show them HOW to live in NYC if they choose to make the move. The rest is up to them, and seeing the results is the BEST reward!"
